Whey Protein or Whey Protein Concentrate is a protein supplement obtained from whey, one of the two main types of protein present in cow’s milk (the other is Casein).

It is characterised by being a source of high biological quality protein, as it provides all the essential amino acids that the body needs for muscle synthesis. It is widely used in sports nutrition due to its rapid absorption and its ability to promote muscle recovery after exercise.

All our whey proteins are Hydrolysed, i.e. through a process of hydrolysis, proteolytic enzymes break them down into smaller peptides and individual amino acids, improving their digestibility and absorption. Being more easily absorbed, hydrolysed protein is much more conducive to muscle recovery, helps repair damaged muscle fibres and promotes optimal muscle growth.

In terms of macronutrients, each serving of our Whey Protein contains 1.94g of fat, 1.44g of carbohydrates, 24g of protein and 0.26g of salt. Each serving provides 119.95 Kcal of energy.

I’ve been consuming it for some time. The most notable thing is its delicate chocolate flavour, which is almost imperceptible and has no added sweetness. There are other products with excessive flavours. I think the value for money is excellent and characteristic of this brand.

It dissolves perfectly with a USB milk foamer. There are no lumps or traces, just perfect dissolution. It has a light, subtle chocolate flavour that is pleasant and reminiscent of natural cocoa. You can add something else if you prefer a stronger flavour. For me, it’s enough, I don’t need to add anything else. It’s easy to digest and doesn’t leave you feeling bloated or with a heavy stomach. I really liked it. I would prefer it to have a vanilla flavour instead of that slight chocolate flavour, but that’s just a personal preference. Everyone likes chocolate, and this is a mild flavour that doesn’t taste chemical. Best of all, it’s pure protein, with no additives of dubious and questionable safety. I will buy it again.
